This is an interactive session which highlights how the evidence from the PLHIV Stigma Index has been used in advocacy in different countries, maps how the Stigma Index can continue to be relevant beyond 2015, and defines a joint advocacy agenda towards zero discrimination.

Talk show: Stigma Index –moving from research to action

Activists from PLHIV networks in Nigeria (Peter Nweke), Uganda (Margaret Happy) and Zimbabwe (Muchanyara Mukamuri) discuss how the evidence gathered in their countries has been used in advocacy to address barriers to access to prevention, treatment and care, promote GIPA and advocate for human rights based HIV programming.

Interactive session: Is Stigma still relevant in 2015?

Have your say where stigma occurs most in your country and map what initiative has been most effective in challenging PLHIV related stigma in your country.

Talk show: Ending HIV = Ending Stigma: our advocacy agenda

Felicita Hikaum (ARASA), Suzette Moses-Burton (GNP+), Rebecca Matheson (ICW) and Patrick Eba (UNAIDS) discuss a common advocacy agenda & ways to use the Stigma Index to promote human rights and meet the global targets such as Zero Discrimination.

This satellite session is organised by GNP+, ICW, UNAIDS and the Zimbabwean network ZNNP+.
